ABOUT


Registration - Industrial Enterprises and Industry related service enterprise are registered for availing the incentives under various Government schemes in two steps ( EM-PART-I & EM-PART-II).
State Industrial Policy,2008 - Various incentives like VAT exemption, Interest Subsidy on term loan, Power Subsidy of Drawal of Power line etc. are provided by State Government to Industrial units under this Policy.
3. LAND DEVELOPMENT PROJECT - As the land plateau used for paddy cultivation is undulating and maximum of cultivators depend upon rain water, the accumulation of this in the filed become necessary for paddy cultivation. In order to prevent this necessary earthen bund are provided according to necessity.
LAND RECLAMATION / WATER DISTRIBUTION PROJECT - North East Industrial & Investment Promotion Policy-2007 (NEIIPP’07 ) Various incentive are provided to industrial units under this policy which is under Ministry of Small & Medium enterprise, , Govt. of India like Capital Investment Subsidy, Interest Subsidy on working capital , Insurance subsidy etc. Presently Registration under NEIIPP’07 is suspended as per direction from authority till further order.
CM’s Special Scheme/Package -
  1. Udyogjyoti Achani : The aim of this scheme is to encourage youths for setting up Industrial venture through EDP/Specialized training, Margin Money Assistance etc.
  2. Assam Vikash Yojana : Training in Vocational training Institute : The aim of the scheme is to provide vocational training (i.e. ti unemployed youths for self employment by setting up Industrial units. Stipend is provided to the trainees and course fees are borne by the Government. After completion of training seed money @ Rs.. 50% of the margin money ( to be deposited at Bank) is provided to the entrepreneurs.
  3. Mukhya Mantrir Karmajyoti Achani : The aim of the scheme is to provide assistance to traditionally skilled artisans/Micro level Entrpreneurs and to increase productivity of the artisans by providing raw materials and improved tools and kits.
  4. Kalpataru Scheme ( Component –III) : The aim of the scheme is to be provide loan to local youths for establishment of micro units which also include margin money (40%) as Govt. Incentive.
  5. Multi Disciplinary Skilled Development Training ( MDSD): The aim of the scheme is to provide training to un employed youths for self employment within period of 3 to 6 month (trade-wise). All the facility for training will be borne by the Govt.
  6. 50% Special Capital Investment Subsidy for Micro units set up by Women, SC/ST & P/H : The aim of the scheme is to improve the Industrial units. The Govt. announced the scheme during 2014-15 for Women/SC/ST & P/H artisans. Benefits of 50% of the investment in machineries ( Maximum limit Rs. 3.00 Lakhs) given under this scheme.
  7. Spl. Incentive for Small Industries units during 2014-15 : The aim of the scheme announced by the Government during 2014-15 for providing benefits to micro units functioning continuously at least 3 (three) Years as on 01-04-2013. The Govt. provided incentive to the entrepreneurs against their local employees @ Rs. 5000/- each with total investment in Plant & Machineries up to Rs. 5.00 Lakhs.
  8. Angel Fund Scheme : The Department of Industries & Commerce, Government of Assam has selected Assam Garmin Vikash Bank (AGVB) as the financial institution to implement the innovative scheme. The purpose of the scheme is to provide easy loan to skilled as well as un-skilled entrepreneurs for starting or developing micro enterprises under manufacturing & Service, Agriculture & Allied activities or any other sector for gainful employment. The Department of Industries & Commerce, Govt. of Assam has initiated the scheme to give gainful employment to entrepreneurs by way of loan out of the fund to be created by Govt. of Assam under the name & style ANGEL FUND through Assam Gramin Vikash Bank.
  9. State Industrial Policy - 2014 : The Department of Industries & Commerce, Assam announced a Scheme under State Industrial Polcy-2014. Proposals for issuing Eligibility Certificate for various benefits under this policy is also considered. Details of Policy etc. at www.investinassam.com. are available in website.
  10. Motivation/Workshop of various Trades to potential Entrepreneurs : This DICC organize the various Motivation Training/Workshop etc. along with the various Govt. of Assam & Govt. of India Agency like, IIE, IID, Coir Board and NEDFi etc.
  11. CREDIT LINKAGE MARGIN MONEY GRANTS SCHEME FOR MICRO ENTERPRISES : Industries & Commerce Department Govt., of Assam proposes a new credit linked Margin Money Grants Scheme for self employment through establishment of Micro Enterprises both in rural & urban areas. The scheme will be implemented by the District Industries & Commerce Centre in each District. 50% of the promoters contribution subject to a maximum limit of Rs. 1.50 lakh (One lakh fifty thousand) shall be provided as Margin Money Grants.
